Students Change Hunger Challenge

Teachers, students, parents … it’s time to register your school for the 18th Annual Students Change Hunger Challenge.

Did you know that food insecurity in our community continues at an unprecedented level? You, your classmates, and your school can help make sure hunger won’t win here!

Fulfill (formerly known as The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties), in collaboration with Press Communications Radio stations, introduced the Holiday Hunger Challenge in 2007, a food drive competition for schools in Monmouth and Ocean counties, to help individuals and families less fortunate during the holiday season.  That program later evolved into Students Change Hunger!

Last year nearly 50,400 pounds of food and over $23,902 were collected by program sponsors and 60 schools in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, representing approx. 30,000 students.

Since 2007, Students Change Hunger, has collected over 960,549 pounds of food and over $401,952 dollars raised for families in need in our area. This year's participating schools will once again compete for the honors of the most food and donations collected.  This year's program will run mid-September 2024 through January 2025.
