Missing Egg Harbor police dog found, reunited with handler
Earlier this week we told you the story about a police dog missing in Egg Harbor. There is good news today. Dillinger, a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois, was recuperating yesterday, with a leg injury, at the home of his handler. Earlier in the day, a motorist spotted the dog walking near an industrial park and called police. Police say the dog got out by scaling a 5-foot chain-link fence and squeezing through a small gap between the fence and the roof of the home. Officials say the kennel will be fixed to prevent another escape.
