Charges are lodged against a NYC man for a Freehold murder
Police formally charged a New York City man for the murder two years ago of an Asbury Park resident on the grounds of the Freehold Elks Club. Authorities believe Brandon Montes shot and killed 39 year old Rodney Keys and shot an injured his friend on May 3, 2008. 29 year old Montes made his first court appearance yesterday and his bail remained at $2.5 Million. Terrell Ryans of Trenton is also charged in the killing. He is also held on $2.5 Million bail.
