Atlantic City students makeup missed days on Saturdays
Atlantic City students will be in classrooms on Saturdays because of snowstorms that closed schools this winter. The school district needs to make up at least three schools days this spring. The first will come this weekend. The Board of Education is locked into its graduation date at Boardwalk Hall, so classes could not be tacked on at the end of the school year. Officials say shaving days off spring break this close to it would be disruptive to many families.
