CentraState's Diabetes Center receives a major donation
A donation of $100,000 has been given to CentraState Healthcare System’s Novo Nordisk Diabetes Center from Novo Nordisk Inc. They’re a global healthcare company focusing on diabetes with headquarters in Princeton. CentraState named the diabetes center for the company in honor of an equivalent donation made in 2005. Diabetes is the seventh-leading cause of death in the United States, and it impacts more than 23 million people. According to the vice-president of Development at CentraState, the continuing partnership with Novo Nordisk helps bring the latest comprehensive diabetes management services to the Freehold community.
