More than 60 communities and non-profits around Ocean County are splitting almost 60-thousand dollars in matching tourism grants. The Freeholder Board recently announced the latest round of the annual awards, ranging in amount from 500 to 14-hundred dollars. Just some of the groups and events to benefit are: the Ocean County Fair, Surflight Theatre Program, ReClam The Bay, The Jersey Coast Anglers’ Annual Fluke Tournament, Pt. Pleasant Beach’s Festival of the Sea, and the Ship Bottom Irish Festival.
