Progress continues in Asbury Park with the construction of 18 new affordable homes on Avenue A in the Springwood neighborhood. During a groundbreaking ceremony today of the STARS/Springwood Neighborhood Stabilization Project, city officials, non-profits, and residents gathered to champion the redevelopment project which is expected to take three years. Plans call for a mixture of two and four bedroom homes. Interested families are encouraged to contact the Affordable Housing Alliance in Eatontown to learn how to apply.
