The NY/NJ Port Authority is offering financial help to truckers to buy new vehicles and replace hundreds of pollution-spewing vehicles serving its marine terminals. Officials say more than 600 pre-1994 container-carrying trucks will be banned from delivering to its five terminals beginning January 1st.
