Statement from Lt. Governor Guadagno following meeting of Review Group
Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno, Chair of the Red Tape Review Group, says yesterday’s meeting in Monmouth County was another open, thoughtful exchange of ideas between the public and the group. By reviewing, and ultimately eliminating, unfunded mandates on local government, they can help rein in the costs that continue to drive higher property taxes on residents. As the committee continues working in a bipartisan fashion to craft common sense reforms to streamline government and improve New Jersey’s business climate, Guadagno is encouraged by the positive response from the public and various stakeholders in the process.
