Unexcelled Fire Company in 1st place in Firehouse Weight Loss Challenge
Its three weeks into the Firehouse Weight Loss Challenge and in the lead is The Unexcelled Fire Company in Neptune. Bob, Lou, Les, Joe and Phil have lost a combined 132 pounds. There are five weeks left in the competition where 27 fire companies try and lose as much weight as possible. The Atlantic Club will donate one dollar for each pound lost by all firemen to the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and will also award the winning team with $1,000 for their firehouse. Rounding out the top three is the North Centerville Fire Dept in Hazlet, and the Oceanport Fire Dept.
