"Right Place at the Right Time", best describes my getting into radio. I was a reporter for The Wall Herald News when Anita Vellardo, who works with me now at the Breeze asked if I would like to help her write news for a local radio station. I thought it sounded interesting, so I decided to give it a try.

Upon my arrival , I met the Program Director who had recently put an ad in the paper for an on air female disc jockey. He assumed I was there to audition. After much persuasion on his part, I was talked into training for an hour…and the rest is history! Never in a million years did I think I would be starting a career in radio the next day!

Looking back, the six  years I spent at WPDQ proved a great way to learn the business, and learn to love what I do now. I moved on to WOBM for about a year, then it was onto the Breeze. I feel very lucky to be here at the Breeze, playing all the great songs I grew up listening to. I love what I do, and could not imagine doing anything else. Thanks for listening!
